Truck drivers can make good money, especially if they own their own rig. But that takes years of saving and building connections in the transportation industry. You need to start small like every other driver. Trucking requires completion of an accredited driving school and for applicants to meet necessary licensing requirements. Some companies will offer to pay for education, but only if you sign a contract to work for a predetermined amount of time. There are always more job openings that drivers to fill them, which makes it an attractive career option.

It used to be that the best casino jobs were reserved for Las Vegas and Atlantic City. But things have changed. Casinos are popping up all around the country, and present interesting opportunities for those considering a career in the industry. Casino & gaming management is a great job with no educational requirements, but you’ll need some experience in an entry level casino role before landing this type of job. As long as you are a people person and a go-getter it shouldn’t be a problem. Consider starting out as a dealer and working your way up the ladder.

Outside of a high school diploma there is no educational requirement to become a real estate agent. Most will start at an established agency for several reasons. First, they help you get licensed. Second, they market properties for you and help gather solid leads. The drawback is that they take a significant portion of your commission. Real estate sales is an unpredictable business. Some months the properties fly off the shelves faster than the speed of light. Other months nothing moves. As a result, agents need to be careful how they budget their finances.
