What to Wear (and What Not to Wear)

For Men – Always remember to wear conservative clothes. Solid colors are highly recommended. Make sure the suit that you wear is of dark color. The shirt that you wear should be either white or any other light color.Socks should be dark in color, professional and well polished.
Attire along the lines of shirts, jeans, T-shirts and leather jackets leave a negative impression on the hiring manager. Therefore, you should always avoid wearing these types of clothes or attire.

For Women – Conservative suit goes for both male as well as females. Solid color always looks professional. Remember that the colors and styles of what you wear should co-ordinate really well. Avoid wearing colors like orange, red, and pink, as they are unacceptable during interviews.
When it comes to choosing colors for suits, it’s advisable to go with corporate colors like navy, black or grey. If you want to look your best to the hiring manager, you should avoid things like dangling jewelry, short skirt, bare legs and low necklines. When wearing shoes, you should follow moderation.
