Payroll Specialist – North Indianapolis (On‑Site) Salary: $60,000–$65,000 depending on experience Location: North Side of Indianapolis, IN Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a detail‑oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to join our team on the north side of Indianapolis. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys working with numbers, and is committed to accuracy and compliance. The Payroll Specialist will manage end‑to‑end payroll processing and serve as a key resource for employees and leadership. Key Responsibilities Process bi‑weekly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Maintain payroll records, employee data, and documentation in accordance with company policies and audit requirements. Review timesheets, resolve discrepancies, and verify hours, deductions, and adjustments. Administer payroll-related benefits such as garnishments, PTO, bonuses, and reimbursements. Prepare payroll reports for management, finance, and external auditors as needed. Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clarity. Collaborate with HR and Accounting to support onboarding, offboarding, and compensation updates. Qualifications 2+ years of payroll experience required Strong understanding of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
