We offer benefits as well as 401k.Position Details: Title: Analytical Laboratory Operations Scientist Position Type: 1 year contract assignment with additional opportunity contingent upon performance and continued business need Job Location: Indianapolis, IN Shift: 1st Shift Benefits: 401K, Dental insurance, Life Insurance, Medical Insurance, Vision Insurance, PTO Compensation:$45/HR Primary Responsibilities Manage routine maintenance of instrument systems including: LC-MS/MS GC-MS/MS Electronic and mechanical pipettes Sample grinding/preparation equipment Evaporators Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to repair, maintain, and upgrade instrumentation. Assist with a major LC-MS/MS software upgrade initiative related to Windows 11 compliance, including scheduling, upgrading, and validating each instrument. Order supplies required for method development and assist with equipment maintenance. Perform routine lab support tasks following established protocols, including: Equipment maintenance and validation Instrument cleaning and performance verification Computer systems validation LC-MS/MS batch setup and execution Mobile phase preparation Comply with all laboratory safety procedures, GLP standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain neat, accurate, and complete documentation of all activities. Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and prepare related documentation as required. Additional Responsibilities May Include: Standard solution preparation Maintaining catalog and GLP documentation for chemical standards and solutions Job QualificationsRequired Qualifications Minimum Associate Degree in a science-related field (BS preferred) General knowledge of mass spectrometry, liquid chromatography, and associated software Ability to manage routine instrument maintenance in a fast-paced, regulated, time-sensitive environment Hands-on analytical laboratory experience strongly preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience with quantitative weighings and solution preparation for analytical techniques Quantitative LC-MS/MS analytical experience with small molecules Understanding of GLP regulations Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams, including R&D regulatory and residue experts Today!
