EKG Technician - PRN

* Perform all departmental procedures within scope of care in timely manner assuring quality results. * Enter all charges and other information into the computer system. * Post reports on the patient's charts. Maintain accurate, up to date patient charts and filing. * Prepare folders and reports for physicians to over read procedure. * Fax reports to the physician's office in a timely manner. * Maintain and stock equipment including cleaning and sterilization procedures. * Maintain the department/office in a neat and presentable manner. * Assist in the preparation of monthly reports. * Respond to all Code Blue and Rapid Response. * Maintain and order adequate supplies for uninterrupted service. * Assist with orientation of new employees. * Participates in unit and hospital wide Patient Quality Improvement Activities. * Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent. * EKG experience preferred.
