Temporary Accounting Manager

A great UHY client is seeking an Accounting Consultant to support accounting and finance operations during a major ERP transition initiative. This role will play a critical part in supporting the company's migration from QuickBooks to SAP, helping maintain day-to-day accounting processes while internal resources are focused on the implementation project.The Accounting Consultant role is a hybrid position based in Ypsilanti, MI, requiring approximately four days per week onsite. This is a contract opportunity expected to last approximately 3-4 months and offers the opportunity to work on a high-impact systems transformation project.Accounting Consultant ResponsibilitiesSupport accounting and finance operations during ERP system transition activitiesAssist with accounting processes and reporting within SAP environmentsWork closely with internal teams during the QuickBooks to SAP migrationUtilize Excel to analyze, organize, and validate financial dataSupport reconciliations, reporting, and ad hoc accounting tasks as neededAssist with troubleshooting and process support related to SAP workflowsCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure continuity of operations throughout the transitionAccounting Consultant RequirementsStrong accounting and/or finance experience working within SAP environmentsSAP Business One (SAP B1) experience strongly preferredExperience with other SAP platforms will also be consideredAdvanced Excel skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environmentStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skillsExperience supporting ERP transitions or system-related projects is a plusUHY Advisors' Resource Solutions Group provides clients with accomplished professionals to support finance, accounting, internal audit and tax teams.
