Now Hiring: Security Staff The Dead End Hayride & The Great Pumpkin Trail Location: Wyoming, Minnesota Pay Range: $14.00 $20.00/hour Employment Duration: 12 months (Seasonal) Schedule: Start time between 5:307:30 PM, 1035 hours/week Availability Needed: Nights & Weekends Keep the Fear Fun & Safe! The Dead End Hayride and The Great Pumpkin Trail are looking for reliable and professional Security Staff to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees and team members. If you have strong situational awareness, excellent judgment, and enjoy working in dynamic environments, we want you on our team. Key Responsibilities: Ensure guest safety through proactive interaction and hazard prevention De-escalate and resolve guest conflicts and altercations Lead emergency evacuation procedures when needed Monitor designated areas and patrol zones throughout the shift Check valid identification for guests drinking alcohol or entering 21+ areas Enforce house rules regarding photography, recordings, and conduct Safeguard venue property and prevent damage Communicate clearly via radio, hand signals, and flashlight when needed Assist with event setup such as stanchions, tables, bonfires, etc. Stand for long periods and remain attentive in a fast-paced outdoor environment Who We're Looking For: Prior security or military experience (highly preferred) Minimum 3 years of experience in guest-facing roles Ability to lift/move 25 lbs. using proper techniques Comfortable working in loud, high-energy, outdoor environments Familiar with identifying valid forms of ID Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Respectful of all cultures, art, and music styles Capable of remaining calm and professional under pressure Perks & Benefits: Competitive hourly pay + opportunities for bonuses Free tickets to The Dead End Hayride, Great Pumpkin Trail & Pinehaven Farm Exclusive staff-only events Advancement potential for returning and high-performing staff Flexible scheduling Protect the fun.
