A health services organization on Long Island is actively seeking a licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP)- ACT Team to join their growing team in Suffolk County. In this role, the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) will play a key role in providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and behavioral health support for children and adolescents. About the Opportunity:Setting: Clinic (25%) and In-Field (75%)Patient Population: Medically Underserved (Adolescents & Children)Responsibilities:Conduct psychiatric evaluations and manage medication regimensCollaborate with the team to develop and implement tailored care plansProvide trauma-informed behavioral health interventionsEngage with families, schools, and community partners to ensure comprehensive careMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationQualifications:Bachelor's and/or Master's DegreeNYS Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) licenseStrong assessment, clinical, and documentation abilitiesPatient-orientedExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal)Highly organized with a strong attention to detailDesired Skills:Bilingual (English and Spanish)Experience working with Medically Underserved population
