Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner

Coverage Needed Start Date: February 23, 2026 End Date: July 3, 2026 Schedule: Mondays - 12pm-5pm, Tuesdays - 7:30am-4:30pm, Wednesdays - 8am-5pm, Thursdays - 7:30am-5pm Clinical Details Provides comprehensive clinical patient care through interviewing, examining and treating associates and their dependents in order to meet their health and wellness needs Prescribes appropriate medical treatment and clinical medications for patients and orders studies, tests and ancillary care services as required Educates patients and/or families about preventive care, wellness, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' clinical problems and health care needs Regularly reviews chronic medical conditions that require ongoing medical attention by accessing available registry tools May refer patients to physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment Ages 2+ Requirements Completed master's degree level Nurse Practitioner program from an accredited college/university Minimum three (3) years primary care practice experience Experience working with an EMR Experience working with pediatric patients in some locations May require phlebotomy Current CPR (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 60 days of hire NPI & DEA Bilingual Spanish a plus Occ Med required Must have workers comp and Family Medicine experience NY License NP Board Certification Must be a recognized provider with the NY State Workers Compensation Board
