Human Resources Compliance Administrator Salary Range: $28.00 - $30.50 Hourly Level: Experienced Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Day Education Level: 2 Year Degree Travel Percentage: None Category: Human Resources Description Position Purpose: The Human Resources Compliance Administrator will conduct HR Compliance Audits as an overall strategy to avoid any legal liabilities. They will ensure the Human Resources department has internal controls that adequately measure and manage the risks it faces. This position will coordinate collaborative efforts as directed by the HR Compliance Manager for internal control assessments, compliance with governmental entities, and participation with professional HR services. The individual ensures that we do not violate EEOC and other laws (state, federal, and local) in the handling of our data, including proactive reporting to ensure that none of our processes create an adverse impact. This includes answering all audit requests, protecting HR data integrity and accuracy, and managing the metrics data with analysis. Essential Duties: Effectively interpret and apply Federal, State, and Local regulations to HR internal and external functions while maintaining the integrity of the current policies and procedures in our company handbook. Identify and analyze tax issues and errors by overseeing quarterly and year-end Paycom (HRIS) reports. Manages Housing Allowance requests and annual review for Board approval. Supports annual 990 and accounting audits. Prepares and sends out bi-weekly payroll reports to management. Oversee all ACA requirements; they are operational and progressive, and data integrity is maintained. Responds to internal and external requests for surveys, audits, and labor statistics to related ministries, government agencies, and professional associations. Maintaining compliance with all reporting entities. Assist the HR Compliance Manager by pulling metrics and analytics data as requested. Leads and supports HRIS client setup and compliance efforts. Completes annual internal and external HR surveys (compliance and benefits). Present and summarize audit/research findings in a clear, concise manner, using appropriate grammar and vocabulary in writing reports and memos. Use independent, mature judgment in responding to unusual situations, resolving conflicts, identifying situations, and recommending solutions to be referred to the supervisor. Ability to maintain confidentiality and a clear record of compliance issues and resolutions. Willingness to exhibit high levels of commitment and dedication. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Well-versed in database analysis and database management. Ability to maintain a positive, assertive, confident, and professional demeanor. Ability to display initiative and resourcefulness in solving problems and updating skills/knowledge. Ability to maintain job effectiveness under stress while adhering to strict deadlines. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively. Must be proficient in operating a Windows-based computer and skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Programs. Advanced Excel skills and development of Excel spreadsheets and internet research. Strong analytical skills and experience interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model. Deep understanding of and experience with Compliance Reporting and Audits. Experience in successfully partnering with IT staff. An effective communicator at all levels in the organization, with strong verbal and written skills and a willingness to share information. A collaborative and flexible style, with a strong service mentality. Exercise the highest level of confidentiality when dealing with employee information. Strong problem-solving skills, identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner, and gathers and analyzes information skillfully. Excellent interpersonal skills, remains open to others' ideas, and exhibits willingness to try new things. Must demonstrate ethical conduct. Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative in pursuing departmental responsibilities. Requirements: Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must sign the Statement of Faith. Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or two or more years of related experience and/or training is preferred. A Charis Bible College student or graduate is preferred. Must pass all required checks. Experience: Five (5) years of office experience that must include auditing, accounting, or analytical-related functions. Four (4) years' experience in HR/Accounting, specializing in payroll taxes and procedures. Proven exceptional customer service skills while maintaining a confidential work environment. Experience in payroll and benefits administration is desired. Experience working in an HRIS system. Compensation is commensurate with experience.
