What you'll bring to the teamRole SummaryWith a strong focus on both staff and guest obsession, the Water Park Team Leader plays a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience and making this one of the best places to work. This is a guest-facing, frontline leadership role supporting daily operations within an assigned zone of the Water Park.As a Water Park Team Leader, you will act as a fully trained and certified subject-matter expert on water attractions, serving as a role model for safety, service, and professionalism while supporting your team and ensuring smooth, efficient operations.Key ResponsibilitiesRole Modeling & Team LeadershipLead by example by ensuring all team members follow water park safety competencies and proper aquatic safety practices. Support efficient daily operations while consistently delivering excellent guest service. Act as a trusted frontline leader, communicating effectively with zonal and management leadership. Notate and report daily operational occurrences and assist leadership with issue resolution. Participate in shift briefings to review daily priorities and assignments. Monitor staff breaks to ensure proper coverage and smooth rotations. Complete presentation and safety checklists to ensure cleanliness and operational standards are met. Support opening and closing procedures in accordance with established guidelines. Serve as the first point of contact for guest inquiries, resolving concerns professionally and positively.Qualifications & ExperienceExperience & QualificationsPrevious experience in a guest-facing role (theme park, resort, or similar environment preferred). Strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills. Basic math and computer skills preferred. Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
