Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - Travel Job

We're hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Winston-Salem, NC where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.Minimum Requirements:Associate or bachelor's degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.Current North Carolina respiratory therapist license in good standing.Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) acceptable.Minimum 2 years of critical care Respiratory Therapy experience required.BLS and ACLS certifications required.Experience in high-acuity environments or Level 1 trauma centers preferred.Preferred experience with department equipment: Servo U, Servo Air, The Vest, Volara, Aerogen, Heated High Flow, and cough assist. Pediatric candidates: HFJV and HFOV preferred.Preferred experience with EPIC electronic medical record.Assignment DetailsFacility type: Hospital.Position type: Travel - 13 week assignment.Shift: Days.Standard hours per week: 36.Shift schedule notes: Weekend rotation every other weekend. Holiday expectation: work 75% of holidays.Orientation: New employee orientation plus 1-2 days departmental orientation.Floating: Assignments based on traveler experience and unit needs; not required to float as standard.Department support: Lead therapists on each shift for adult and pediatric coverage.Parking: Free.Scrub color: Pewter (charcoal grey).Location Highlights.
