Opportunity:Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)Job Details:Monday through Friday with weekday call coverageWeekend and holiday call (typically 1 in 6)Minimum coverage: 2 weeks per month (may be flexible)Weekday shifts: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM callWeekend shifts: 24 hours (7:00 AM to 7:00 AM)Must be able to respond to call within 30 minutesSupport staff includes 3 to 4 CRNAs on shift, plus 2 pediatric CRNAs on FridaysCase volume: Typically 3 to 5 cases per day depending on OR loadPatient population: Primarily adult and elderly, with light pediatrics (dental and laparoscopic)Rural hospital setting with 49 bedsDepartment includes 4 core ORs, dedicated endoscopy room, C-suite, 1 flex room, and DaVinci robot availableProcedures include orthopedics (total joints, neuro spine, sports), general surgery, plastics, podiatry, OB (35 to 50 C-sections annually), and ophthalmologyNeuraxial anesthesia (spinal, epidural, combined spinal-epidural) for elective casesBoard Certification: NBCRNA requiredActive MN license and DEA requiredCertifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, Neonatal Resuscitation requiredMinimum 2 years of experienceSkills required: Nerve blocks, OB, general anesthesia, spinalsPediatrics experience preferredRural health experience strongly preferredCRNA-only model with no MD oversightEMR system: Cerner/Oracle3-month contract with option to extendFacility:This rural healthcare facility is a 49-bed hospital that provides comprehensive surgical and anesthesia services to the local community.
