Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Winfield, KS (New Grads are Accepted) Job Type: Full-timeShifts: DaysAbout the Role:We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide integrated outpatient psychiatric and primary care services under the direction of the Medical Director. This position plays a key clinical role within our CCBHC care model, serving patients in both local and rural frontier communities.Essential Job Functions:Maintain a minimum of 1000 hours of direct service time annuallyWillingness to travel regionally and serve rural frontier areas as neededProvide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and related psychiatric office servicesOffer clinical guidance and collaboration with nursing and clerical support teamsComplete accurate and timely clinical documentation:Medication management notes: by 9:00 AM the day after servicePsych evaluations: within 5 business daysMaintain collaborative, client-centered service and documentation processesGENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide integrated outpatient psychiatric and primary care services to patients under the direction of the Medical Director and consistent with all agency policies and procedures.Qualification:Current psychiatric medical license or mid-level psychiatric professional license valid in the state of KansasDependable vehicle, valid driver's license, and ability to meet agency liability requirements (as applicable)Ability to communicate positively and effectively with staff, clients, and community partnersBasic proficiency in mathematicsEffective use of standard office technology and electronic medical record systemsBenefits:Medical, Dental, Vision InsuranceRetirement PlanLife & Disability InsurancePaid Time Off
