Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities/Requirements:Perform all x-raysBring patients back to exam rooms and triage patientsFitting bracesLocate any necessary imaging, test results, or reports for upcoming appointmentsPrepare exam rooms, restock supplies for the clinic, power up computers, etc.Prepare for the clinic by printing out patient information as requested by the physicianAssist other team members as neededAssist with phone messagesMRI/CT scheduling/precertingPrepare for clinics by printing out progress notes and test resultsObtain physician's signature on miscellaneous formsAssist with in-office proceduresProvide coverage for other clinical teams as neededFriendly and Professional patient communication when answering and returning patient phone calls, providing various forms of patient education and handouts, escorting patients to and from exam rooms, appointment/surgery reminder calls, responding to and charting patient messages, and communicating test results to patients with direction from the physicianMust also possess:Minimum of two years full-time clinical experience in healthcare or orthopedics is a plusMust be a licensed x-ray techAbility to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians, and staffAbility to work under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlinesOutstanding organizational, verbal, and writing skillsIndependent, self-starting, and highly motivatedStrong patient care and interpersonal skillsProven positive, "teamwork" attitude and work historyMinimum one-year full-time clinical experience in healthcare preferredPhysical Demands:Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfullyFrequent moving, pushing, and pulling of heavy patients and/or equipmentConstant standing and walkingMust be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areasConsistently work at a productive paceMust readily adapt to frequent treatment schedule changes Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
