Cardiac Sonographer

Must Have: Associates Degree required Graduate of a CAAHEP/JRC-DMS approved School of Cardiac or Vascular Sonography or an AAS degree in Radiologic Science or other healthcare related degree with appropriate credential. Basic Life Support (BLS) required Experience performing 2D Echos, Dobutamine Stress Echos, Tranespophegeal Echos, PericardiocentesisJob Description: Performs standard and advanced cardiography procedures such as graded exercise testing, echocardiography (2D/M Mode/Color Flow/Doppler), transesophageal examinations (TEE), EKG tracings, and treadmill stress testing. Provides emotional support, comfort, general assistance and information to patients. Coordinates or collaborates with physicians and nursing staff. Maintains, calibrates and performs quality control checks on equipment. Performs associated clerical and coordination activities including scheduling, charging, and sending/storing data. Documents tasks and results to the patient record. Assists MD with daily flow of clinic patients obtaining vital signs, ht, wt, etc
