Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Sonography/Ultrasound

American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in Maternal Fetal / OB-GYN sonography, with a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARDMS OB/GYN certification required.Job Details• Outpatient clinic setting focused on high-risk OB and general outpatient ultrasound,• Patient population includes OB/GYN patients requiring Level 1 OB scans and GYN scans,• General ultrasound procedures include abdominal aorta, appendix, breast, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, and spleen,• OB/GYN procedures include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester scans, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, and placenta previa,• Neonatal procedures include bone lengths, cerebellum, ventricles, head, and heart,• Renal/pelvic procedures include bladder, hernia, ovaries, prostate, renal/bladder, uterus, and vaginal,• Small parts procedures include breast cyst aspiration, breast ultrasound, superficial masses, testicles/scrotum, and thyroid,• GE ultrasound equipment required,• Epic EMR system,• Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 4:30 PM with a 45-minute meal break (5x8-hour day shifts),• No call or weekend requirements,• Floating may be required per facility needs,Job Requirements• Minimum of 2 years of sonography experience required,• ARDMS and ARDMS OB/GYN certifications required,• BLS required,• Must be a registered diagnostic medical sonographer,• Experience with high-risk OB and outpatient settings required,• Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment required,• ARDMS FE and NT certifications preferred,• Experience with nuchal translucency screening preferred,• License required if applicable,Additional Information• First-time travelers will be considered for this position,• Local candidates are accepted,• Contract staff may be assigned to a Storm Team or Hurricane Team and could be required to report during catastrophic events, mass casualty incidents, or disasters,• Consolidation to a centralized office mid-contract may occur, with preassignment to units as needed,• RTO is not permitted after booking,• Scrubs are not provided; any color is acceptable,• An interview with the manager is required prior to offer - candidates should be prepared to interview within 72 hours of submission
