CNC Machine Programmer - Direct Hire

What a CNC Machine Programmer will do: Draft thermal cut parts use multiple CAD Packages, including AutoCAD & SolidWorks Convert geometry to usable NC code for the appropriate machine language from 2D & 3D platforms Create tasks for machine-specific operations, generating CNC coding for thermal cutting machines, including Plasma, Oxyfuel torch, & laser Work with Enterprise PDM for archiving and production data management Schedule orders, coordinate parts, and complete orders Work with a variety of geometry data to create accurate customer programs for production Interact with sales, customers, and shop personnel for parts production Use cutting equipment in a "hands-on" capacity in conjunction with CNC Machine Programmers Assist in double-checking your co-worker's work What it takes to become a CNC Machine Programmer: Strong Drafting skills are a must Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD required Able to read prints High attention to Detail Experience with CNC machines is helpful Ability to work with other people, customers, sales, and production Willing to work in the production area Take the next step in your career with this direct hire job in Willmar!
