Dagen is recruiting an Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist for a growing oil & gas services company in Willis, TX.This is a direct-hire in office position.This opportunity is ideal for a safety professional who enjoys being in the field, building relationships, and supporting teams in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.The HSE Specialist will be responsible for implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental programs across multiple job sites. This role serves as the main point of contact for employees and supervisors on safety matters, ensuring compliance with safety standards and helping teams work safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include conducting site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; identifying and mitigating risks; supporting incident investigations; and assisting with emergency response efforts.The position also involves delivering safety training, mentoring employees, preparing reports, and providing guidance to leadership on HSE-related topics. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations, experience with root cause analysis, and the ability to clearly communicate safety expectations across all levels of an organization.This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, the ability to work with diverse teams, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and other systems. Travel is required (50-75%), including occasional overnight stays, depending on project needs.Position RequirementsMust pass a background check, including an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)Valid Texas Driver's License requiredMust pass pre-employment drug screening, physical (if applicable), and background checkMust be eligible to work in the U.S. (I-9/E-Verify required)Education & ExperienceMinimum of 4 years of relevant HSE or safety experienceAssociate degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field preferredExperience in Oil & Gas or Water Well Drilling industry preferredIntermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Current OSHA 30 certification preferredFirst Aid/CPR instructor certification preferredBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredExperience or training in areas such as fall protection, hazard communication, electrical safety, lockout/tagout, and accident investigation
