Descriptions & requirements Job Description Dock Jockeys (Dock Coordinator/Yard Jockey) are critical to our success at FritoLay! In the Dock Jockey role, you will be responsible for: * Supporting yard management of trailers. * Moving trailers throughout the yard, and setting them up at the dock doors. * Serve as the operations support person for the warehouse and provide traffic support and manufacturing support as needed * Assign loads, set up and monitor dock and load out activities - Velocity & Performance driven * Assign work to Shippers as required * Adjust crewing levels as needed - downcrew / overtime * Bill out loads and assist in Traffic related issues * Coordinate maintenance support throughout the shift * Ensure all run right indicators are reviewed throughout the shift, action plans developed, communicated and executed * All other duties as assigned * Overtime may be required We operate 24 hours a day, which means you may not have a typical schedule, and our jobs are physical! If you have never worked in this kind of role before, you should understand that you will be on your feet for the entirety of your shift moving product around.
