Senior Distribution Manager

Shift: Saturday-Tuesday 10am-6pm Senior Distribution Manager Join DHL Supply Chain as a Senior Distribution Manager and take on a crucial role in enhancing our warehouse operations. With a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $120,000, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact within our organization. Your leadership will not only guide daily operations but also play a key role in developing innovative strategies to optimize our warehouse activities. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily warehouse operations including efficient and accurate receiving, storage, and shipping of goods. Develop strategic initiatives to streamline warehouse processes, reduce costs, and enhance productivity. Lead and inspire a team of Operations Managers and staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. Ensure full compliance with safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a clean and efficient work environment. Leverage warehouse management systems (WMS) and technology to optimize inventory tracking and performance metrics. Manage vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective service while adhering to commercial agreements. Analyze and prepare reports on warehouse performance and inventory levels to support informed decision-making. Build strong customer relationships through regular communication, ensuring satisfaction and collaboration. Take responsibility for the facility's profit and loss (P&L), directly related to customer relationships. Prepare and present Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews (MBR/QBR) to clients, showcasing team achievements and collaborative efforts. Required Education and Experience: Minimum of 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience. At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, warehousing, or distribution environment. Preferred experience in Third Party Logistics (3PL) or Contract Logistics. Proven staff management skills. P&L management experience is preferred. Project management experience is a plus. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is a preferred asset.
