Job ResponsibilitiesSome responsibilities associated with this role include: Delivering quality patient care, excellent communication and customer service Assisting ophthalmologist in surgery suite with LASIK procedure Applying drops to anesthetize, dilate, or medicate eyes Educating patients by providing information regarding treatment, use of drops and drugs Ensuring confidentiality by completing and safeguarding medical records Operating various ophthalmology diagnostic equipment Verifying schedule times with patients Preparing charts Handling pre-admission and consent forms Counseling patients on their insurance and payment options Receiving and securing payments from patientsJob RequirementsInitial qualifications for this role include: Retail/sales experience is preferred, but not required Vision experience is preferred, but not required Demonstrates initiative, drive and follow-through Attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal guidance as needed and work well under pressure Quick learners who are able to grow and develop more skills with us - WE WILL TRAIN YOU!Join LCA Vision Inc./Kismet- and help us transform the lives of our patients.Apply now!This job description is merely a summary and in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the applicant.
