Our client, a well-established corporate office, is looking to hire an Accounts Receivable Clerk to start right away! Candidates with 1-2 years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience will be considered! This position will work onsite 5 days a week Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk Office Location: White Plains, NY Pay: $24/hr Responsibilities: Process and post customer payments, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers. Prepare and send customer invoices and statements in a timely manner. Monitor accounts to ensure payments are received on schedule. Follow up on past-due accounts and assist with collections as needed. Reconcile accounts receivable balances and resolve payment discrepancies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records. Assist with month-end close activities related to accounts receivable. Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues. Required Qualifications: 1-2 years of accounts receivable, billing, or general accounting experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to analyze account discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
