Job Description:
Accounting Clerk We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. This role is responsible for a broad range of accounting and administrative functions including commission and royalty processing, tax compliance support, business license renewals. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and brings a team-first attitude always ready to flag concerns, follow through on tasks, and lend a hand when bandwidth allows. Key Responsibilities Commission, Bonus, Rebate & Royalty Processing Calculate and process sales commissions, bonuses, Royalties and rebates, accurately and on schedule Send out statements to concerned parties on time. Reconcile commission statements and resolve discrepancies that arise during/after calculation Maintain records for all rebate and royalty agreements. Maintain a guide for commission calculation Tax & Compliance Download and organize tax returns, filings, and supporting documentation from relevant portals Assist in preparation, analyzing and filing of sales tax, use tax, and other applicable returns Make estimated tax payments before due dates Track business license expiration dates across all applicable jurisdictions Complete and submit renewal applications in a timely manner to avoid lapses Maintain an up-to-date license and annual report log and flag upcoming renewals proactively Support the team during audit periods by pulling requested documentation Email & Document Management Monitor, organize, and respond to accounting-related email communications promptly Clean up and maintain shared inboxes file, archive, or action items in a structured manner Ensure no requests, or critical communications fall through the cracks Work Style & Core Expectations Accuracy & Attention to Detail Proactive Communication Follow-Through Time management Collaborative Team Spirit Organized Integrity
