This position involves dispatching, routing, operational recordkeeping, communication, and provides driving coverage as needed to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent.Valid NJ CDL Class B with Passenger and School Bus endorsements.Experience in school transportation operations preferred.Familiarity with routing/transportation management systems preferred.Strong communication and organizational skills.Ability to conduct required safety inspections.Must meet NJ residency, criminal history, and medical requirements.Key Responsibilities:Daily dispatch, scheduling, and route coverage in collaboration with the Transportation Coordinator.Manage driver communications and respond to routine operational issues.Assist with route planning, adjustments, and extracurricular transportation scheduling.Maintain required records, reports, and compliance documentation.Conduct pre-trip inspections and monitor vehicle readiness.Drive assigned routes as needed and ensure student safety and compliance with all regulations.Perform related duties and occasional extended hours as required.Salary Range : $51,310 - $58,110Email a letter of application and proof of CDL to:Mr. Justin Toomey, Superintendent of SchoolsEmail: Jobs@ Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer
