As part of a Swiss-based global organization, we combine technical excellence with a customer-focused, collaborative culture.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to support our growing marketing efforts, with a strong focus on tradeshows, events, and day-to-day marketing coordination.Position SummaryThe Marketing Assistant plays a key supporting role in executing Swan Analytical USA's marketing initiatives, with primary responsibility for coordinating tradeshows, conferences, and events. This role works closely with sales, marketing leadership, external vendors, and internal teams to ensure professional execution of events and consistent brand representation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple moving parts in a dynamic environment.Key ResponsibilitiesTradeshow & Event SupportAssist in planning, coordinating, and executing company tradeshows, conferences, and industry eventsManage event logistics, including booth materials, shipping, registrations, travel arrangements, and vendor communicationsSupport onsite event setup, teardown, and booth operations as needed (25-50% travel)Maintain an organized inventory of tradeshow materials, branded items, and promotional suppliesUpdate and maintain marketing calendars, project timelines, and documentation for tradeshows and conferencesTrack event performance metrics, prepare post-event summaries, and identify opportunities for improvementMarketing & Content SupportSupport social media content creation and scheduling related to tradeshows, conferences, and company activitiesAssist with coordination of marketing collateral, signage, presentations, and promotional itemsWork with designers, printers, and vendors to ensure materials meet brand and quality standardsProvide general marketing support for campaigns, product launches, and sales enablement initiativesInternal Marketing & CultureAssist in planning and coordinating internal and external events, celebrations, and company activitiesHelp manage internal marketing initiatives that support employee engagement and company cultureSupport internal communications related to marketing efforts, events, and announcementsPreferred Skills & QualificationsStrong organizational skills with excellent attention to detailAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEffective written and verbal communication skillsComfortable coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendorsProficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with basic design or content tools is a plusComfortable working independently while also being a collaborative team playerWillingness and ability to travel for tradeshows and events (including occasional weekends)Exposure to industrial, municipal, and life science marketsWhat We OfferOpportunity to grow within a global, technically driven organizationHands-on experience with national-level tradeshows and industry eventsCollaborative, supportive team environmentCompetitive compensation and benefits package
