Construction Safety ManagerLocation: Wheatfield, IN Duration: 4+ Months (Start: 4/6) Type: 1099 Contractor Job Details Hourly Rate: $52/hrPer Diem: $125/Day on seven daysCompletion Bonus: $150/monthPay: WeeklySchedule: 50-60hrs/week | Monday-Saturday | 0800-1700 | Possible Sundays depending on site needs Project ScopeThe construction safety manager will oversee safety for the concrete and steel at a power generation station. Concrete pads and walls QualificationsMust have: 5+ years of construction safety experienceMass concrete, including gang formworkCranes/riggingExcavationsStructural Reinforcing Steel Key Responsibilities Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientationsMonitor OSHA complianceUpload documentation into ProcoreDaily safety reportsTrack workforce safety complianceMaintain safety logs and compliance recordsFall protection enforcement (CRITICAL priority)Provide safety training as neededMonitor worksite employees and enforce safety protocolsReview and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondencePerform additional EHS-related tasks as requiredThey expect the safety person to help shape the safety program.
