Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Manager / Bookkeeper to support daily office operations and oversee core accounting and administrative functions. This is a fully onsite role in West Chester, PA, ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats in a small-to-mid-sized business environment.Key Responsibilities Accounting & Bookkeeping• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes • Utilize QuickBooks for data entry, reconciliations, and financial tracking • Pull and prepare financial and payroll-related reports as needed • Perform accurate and timely data entry across accounting and administrative systemsPayroll Support • Coordinate with an external payroll service (Payroll Factory) • Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time for salaried and hourly employees • Review payroll reports and verify accuracy before and after processingOffice Management & Administrative Support • Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately • Manage and stock office supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed • Provide general administrative and office support to ensure smooth daily operationsREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE• Prior experience as an Office Manager, Bookkeeper, or similar role • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks • Working knowledge of AR/AP and payroll processes • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Comfortable handling both accounting tasks and front-office responsibilities • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently in an onsite environmentCompensation:$25/hr to $31/hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance.
