May also assist with general housekeeping duties such as room/office cleaning, restroom maintenance, trash collection, or other duties as assigned. RESPONSIBILITIES: Dust mops and wet mops all floor areas according to departmental standards. Machine scrubs, waxes and spray buffs resilient floor time areas according to department standards per schedule and/or annual competencies. Vacuums spot cleans bonnet buffs and extracts carpet areas according to department standards per schedule and/or annual competencies. Performs daily, weekly, monthly assigned cleaning according to department standards per schedule and/or annual competencies. Washes walls, light fixtures, doors, window frames etc. SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS Ability to plan and execute floor care projects with minimal guidance from the supervisor/manager of EVS. Effective interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to communicate housekeeping activities with patients, staff and visitors.
