Lighting Technician

Support the development, documentation, and installation of complex lighting systems and backlit architectural features. This role blends hands-on electrical knowledge with CAD-based design and documentation responsibilities.The ideal candidate has experience with low-voltage systems, lighting controls, construction materials, and manufacturing processes, and is comfortable working both in the office and in the field alongside installation teams.ResponsibilitiesExperience with low-voltage electrical systems and basic electrical principlesWorking knowledge of NEC standards and lighting controls (0-10V, DMX)Comfortable using hand tools and working with common construction materialsFamiliarity with manufacturing and assembly processesProficiency in AutoCAD (Revit and Fusion 360 a plus)Ability to read and produce electrical schematics and detailed BOMsWillingness to travel occasionally to support installationsProficient in Microsoft OfficeQualificationsProblem solver Strong understanding of low-voltage electrical systems and lighting integrationFamiliarity with building management systems as they relate to lightingComfortable working with computers, software, and digital workflowsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and documentationStrong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teamsRevit and AutoCAD
