We are looking to hire a creative and enthusiastic Executive Chef with energy and drive to join our team. The Executive Chef will assist with further developing a healthy, farm-to-table menu concept. The Executive Chef will take the lead and control the kitchen and the kitchen staff at this upscale casual restaurant. We provide a great and friendly working environment. Potential to grow with the company.Responsibilities:Create and modify the food menuResponsible for the food orderingCooking of food for the customers on a timely basisEstimate the food costs, food requirements and plan for food purchase budgetingHire, train, recruit and supervise the kitchen staffPerform basic administrative dutiesComply with restaurant service regulations, nutrition and sanitation requirements, health regulations, restaurant storage and safety standardsRequirements:Minimum of 5 years of cooking experience in a similar position with a track record of kitchen managementCulinary Arts Degree or equivalent professional experienceMaintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customersStrong leadership skills with attention to details and organizationGood communication skills in a controlled mannerBasic knowledge of working with a point of sale system, a plusSPREAD THE WORD.
