Aerospace Deburring Technician (Burr Hand)1st Shift | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (training on 1st shift) Pay: $26.10 - $32.35/hr (based on experience) Our customer, a precision aerospace manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Deburring Technician to support finishing operations on complex machined components. This role is ideal for candidates who have worked on larger aerospace parts and take pride in precision finishing, inspection, and quality workmanship. You'll work in a high-mix machining environment producing complex hardware such as housings and other critical aerospace components, supported by strong engineering and quality teams. Responsibilities Perform deburring, polishing, and finishing operations on aerospace components Remove excess material, burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections per blueprints and discrepancy reports Determine proper deburring methods based on part dimensions, condition, and specifications Assist with positioning and loading parts on equipment Inspect parts and verify work meets required tolerances and quality standards Interpret blueprints, shop orders, and written instructions Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Follow good manufacturing practices and safety procedures Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications (Must Have) Minimum 2 years deburring experience on aerospace componentsExperience using deburring machines, tools, and finishing equipmentExperience working on larger machined parts (not small punch-style components) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specificationsStrong attention to detail and ability to inspect your own work Preferred 3-5 years deburring/finishing experience Background polishing and inspecting precision machined aerospace hardware Strong time management and communication skills Work Environment & Requirements High-precision aerospace manufacturing setting Safety-focused environment with PPE required Ability to handle and maneuver larger machined components
