We are seeking dedicated couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this meaningful and life-changing role, you will reside in on-campus student homes and provide support, guidance, and supervision for a group of 8-13 students. As a Flex Houseparent, you will play an essential role in fostering a structured, family-like environment that encourages the academic, emotional, and social development of our students. Key Responsibilities: Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students. Manage household routines and student schedules effectively. Administer medications and ensure overall student wellness. Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities. Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel services. Oversee budgeting and maintain household reporting. Upon hiring, Flex Houseparents will initially support various student homes, working a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. During weekdays, houseparents will have unscheduled time while students are at school. Over time, you will transition to a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students. Benefits: Competitive salary of $44,768.00 per person (approx. $168,000 total compensation per couple, including free housing and meals while on duty). Relocation assistance and paid training provided. Generous paid time off at designated times throughout the year. Qualifications: Experience working or volunteering with youth is essential. This is a two-person role for couples legally married for a minimum of two years. Both spouses must be aged 27 or older. Maximum of three dependent children may reside in the student home. Commitment to maintaining a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; alcohol is not permitted while on duty. Pet restrictions apply: only fish and one approved breed dog allowed. A valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans mandatory. Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited). High school diploma or GED is required. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff serve as role models for students.
