The role of a Small Format Team Member can provide you with theskills and experience of: Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest first culture across the storeRetail business fundamentalsincluding:department sales trends, pricing and promotion strategies, inventory management,andprocess efficiency&improvementSupporting daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goalsAs aSmall Format Team Member, no twodaysare ever the same, but a typical day willmost likely includethe following responsibilities: Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks.When guests needassistance, engage with guests in a welcoming way, to help solve their specific needs.Thankguestsand let them knowwe’rehappy they chose to shop atTarget.Beknowledgeable about the tools, products, and services available in thetotalstore, and specific to your area, to solve issues for theguestand improve their experience.Helpguests asyoucomplete workload with minimal guest disruption.Work in all departments to ensuresalesfloor is full, zonedand in stock for guests.Assistwithtruck unload process and stockproductto the sales floor.Makechanges to salesfloor merchandise displaysor all departments.Conduct weeklyprice change workloadand ensure regular and promotional signing is set accurately for all plete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy.Support execution of major transitions.Maintaininterior and exterior brand, including emptying garbage cans and attending to restroom cleanliness,collecting carts, chargingelectronic carts,RVMmaintenance(if applicable)and attendingto spills throughout the store as needed.Accurately execute allfills(i.e.,fill the floor,liabilityfills, and guest requests) andorganize and store reserveproductfrom all departments.Process all inbound deliveries(using the receive application)to ensure inventory plete all backroom daily and weekly audits.Ifcertified,operatedpowered equipment to move merchandise on the sales floor and in thebackroom.Maintain backroom organization and location accuracy and follow equipment guidelines.Follow processes accurately with attention to detail,monitorown progress and accurately prioritize tasks.Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct,safetyand compliance.Work in a safe mannerat alltimes;comply withall safety policies,best practices, and training;
