Job Description:
The Marketing Intern supports the Marketing team in various ways, including, but not limited to events, marketing promotions and campaigns, social media and special projects to market to both existing and potential members. Purdue Federal Credit Union is dedicated to fostering the academic and professional growth of interns by providing valuable hands-on experience. Through active involvement in meaningful projects and a structured, mentored-learning environment. Interns have the opportunity to enhance their skills and contribute to the credit union's success. Duties and Responsibilities: Events Assist with event planning and logistics. Work onsite at events such as Boiler Gold Rush, family days at branches, and other promotional events. Social & Digital Media Support social media efforts including blog writing, video script writing, and video filming. Assist with digital marketing initiatives, including conducting monthly website audits. Marketing Campaigns & Promotions Support the Boiler Financial Track program. Write content for flyers, brochures, emails, and other marketing materials as needed. Perform other duties as assigned to support the Marketing team. Additional Requirements: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to learn new software and marketing tools. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to collaborate effectively with teammates. Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities. Ability to communicate, verbally and in writing, in a professional manner when dealing with employees, members, vendors, and company contacts.
