Department/Unit: HBD - Aids Program Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $83,200.00 - $128,960.00 ($33/hr. - $47.60/hr.) Join our caring and compassionate team as a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) in our HIV Medicine Clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of individuals affected by HIV. The Albany Medical College Division of HIV Medicine (DHIVM) offers comprehensive services, including: Primary medical care Medical case management Medication adherence support Peer services Substance abuse counseling Mental health counseling and psychiatric services Nutrition services Gynecological services Hepatitis B and C management/treatment Referral to clinical trials Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) Post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP) HIV counseling and testing As an RN, you will work under the direction of the practice physician and/or advanced practice provider (APP) while being supervised by the Nurse Manager and/or Nurse Supervisor. Your responsibilities will include: Obtaining and recording patient vital signs Documenting patient history in EHR Performing focused physical assessments Administering medications and treatments Monitoring and documenting patient responses to care Participating in in-office procedures Performing diagnostic testing and venipuncture Reviewing and triaging test results and patient requests Preparing patient charts with clinical information Delegating tasks to LPNs and MAs as appropriate Providing patient education and wellness support Maintaining inventory and stocking examination rooms Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree from an accredited Registered Nursing program Current NYS license as a Registered Nurse 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience Thank you for considering a career with Albany Medical Center.
