The position is expected to complete jobs timely with minimal errors and will be compensated on an hourly basis. The position is expected to be punctual and able to complete all aspects of the job.PROGRAM STANDARDS: · Achieve industry standard productivity on a daily basis. Co mplete assigned tasks within allotted timeframe. Complete assigned tasks so that they meet quality standards as set by the contract and The Arc Allegany-Steuben. Demonstrate good work habits and work ethic. Display excellent customer service. All Production Workers will be cross-trained in each area and expected to perform all the duties described above as assigned. Janitorial Responsible for cleaning (sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, etc.). Responsible for stripping and waxing floors. Responsible for carpet extraction and related activities. Responsible for proper sanitization of assigned facilities Light Manufacturing Assembly of products as designated by Production Coordinators. Moving materials throughout agency grounds (manual lifting or using forklifts or pallet jacks). Packaging of materials for distribution. Folding of garments and other materials. A pparel Folding of garments and clothing. Registering garments in computer system. Responsible for operation and cleaning of screen-printing equipment. S hipping and receiving for UPS orders. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: The person in this position exhibits conscientiousness, dedication, self-discipline, and a sense of responsibility. The person in this position functions successfully with supervision. The person in this position has good and/or verbal communication skills. The person in this position must maintain a working telephone. Maintain a valid driver’s license if applicable. The person in this position will not have any duties relating to the care or supervision of people supported by The Arc Allegany-Steuben.
