Recruiter (Manufacturing Workforce)JOB SUMMARYThe Recruiter position will provide full cycle recruitment for the Waukesha location with a focus on hourly - workforce manufacturing recruitment. The incumbent will support the business through candidate sourcing, recruitment and support of processes for the fulfilment of the plant's hourly complete workforce plan. PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead the full cycle recruiting: sourcing, recruiting, phone screens, interviewing, tours and schedulingAssist to source candidates and provide resumes to business partnersDevelop and maintain job descriptionsEnsures the accuracy and concise records and reports concerning all phases of the recruitment processAct as a main contact for new hire communicationsConduct hourly new hire orientations, as requiredEvaluates employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities, and other data pertinent to classification, selection, and referralsMaintain recruiting tracking processesPost jobs internally, externally and on various recruiting sitesAttend career fairs and job fairsFoster relationship with local schools or agencies for recruiting initiativesSupport HR team efforts to continually improve processes and our customer experienceEmbrace and model the values of Prolec GE Waukesha: Trustworthiness and Searching for excellence in everything we do Coordinate and plan employee eventsAssist with projects, employee relations and labor relationsAssist HR management in the development, revision, and implementation of streamlined processes, procedures and administrativepractices Conduct termination processes including exit interviews, survey distribution, analysis and follow up and delivery of post termination information to associatePerform regular and ad hoc reporting on items such as headcount, attrition, turnover, attendance, and performance/development objectivesKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESAbility to act in an action oriented manner and drive for exceptional results Ability to communicate with employees and management at all levels effectivelyStrong skills in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPointStrong knowledge of an HRIS system preferredAbility to use ATS systemsKnowledge of HR law (FMLA, FLSA, HIPAA, etc.) preferredStrong attention to detailProcess and problem solving skillsAdaptable to change and work in a fast paced environmentWork with sensitive materialMeeting commitments with the highest standard of ethics and integrityAbility to travel up to 5%EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCERequired Education / ExperienceAssociate's Degree in Human Resources, or Business Management with 2-3 years recruiting experience for industrial manufacturing roles Preferred Education / ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Management with 3 years or more experience recruiting for industrial manufacturing 'rolesADDITIONAL INFORMATIONKey Working RelationshipsHuman Resources, Operations, Quality, Administration and leadershipPhysical DemandsMust be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.Working ConditionsOffice area and production floorProlec-GE Waukesha, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status, or any other reason prohibited by applicable law.
