Its an ideal location for healthcare professionals seeking a balance between professional growth and quality of life.Schedule:12-hour night shiftsHours: 7:00 PM 7:30 AMWeekend, holiday, and on-call responsibilities (30-minute response time)Contract position with a radius work rule of 100 milesResponsibilities:Deliver high-quality nursing care in the operating room settingAssess patients' clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needsUtilize clinical equipment and instrumentation to maintain a safe, aseptic environmentInterpret lethal dysrhythmias and respond appropriatelyLead and prioritize care, potentially serving as charge nurseParticipate in ongoing education, including a mandatory 6-month Perioperative 101 Education Program if lacking recent OR experienceQualifications and Desired Experience:Graduate from an accredited School of NursingCurrent New York State RN license or eligibilityBLS certification required or obtainable within 3 months; ACLS preferredMinimum one year of medical/surgical nursing experience preferredStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to perform safely under stress with problem-solving aptitudeExperience with patient lifts and safety protocols in patient handlingThis contract opportunity offers a chance to expand your perioperative nursing skills while making a positive impact in patient care.
