Such alternatives to the above as the Board may find appropriate and acceptableREPORTS TO: PrincipalJOB GOAL:To supervise students to establish and maintain a calm and pleasant atmosphere in thecafeteria. To support office personnel with their daily functions.PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Assumes responsibility for directing students in proper behavior.a. Organizes students into orderly lines of purchasing food and sees thatthey go to assigned tables.b. Helps students develop and observe proper dining habits, both in termsof etiquette and nutrition.c. Assists younger students with utensils when needed.d. Organizes groups for orderly dismissal from the lunchroom.2. Assumes responsibility for observing student behavior in the cafeteria.a. Actively monitors student behavior by roaming throughout thecafeteria.b. Intervenes in situations to prevent bullying.c. Provides warnings to students on inappropriate behavior. Reports tocertified staff when behavior isn't corrected.d. works with students in a calm and encouraging demeanor. Cultivatesan attitude of mutual respect.3.
