Enterprise Mobile Service Technician The Enterprise Mobile Service Technician independently performs in field advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance work on customer and/or dealer-owned agricultural equipment, by operating a mobile service vehicle and traveling to customer locations throughout our TNE area of responsibility. The Enterprise Mobile Service Technician is responsible for the effective repair of machinery and components at high levels of quality across all TNE locations. You'll focus on: First line of mobile service support to the True North Equipment customer base Performing advanced diagnostics, repairs, reconditioning, and assembly on agricultural equipment and established technology infield and service department, using the latest diagnostic technologies such as Service Advisor, as assigned by a supervisor Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs required for the development of skills and knowledge You are the face of True North Equipment and deliver a professional experience to the customer base, and are known as a trusted technical advisor You are a willing mentor of service technician trainees Available to support employee and customer training events Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products Maintain the condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment You will maintain a clean work area and perform work in a neat and orderly fashion Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments Work must be completed in a safe, professional, and timely manner Provide timely completion of all repair orders, reports, and forms required in conjunction with work assignments You're accountable for all time and all material used in performing assigned duties Document machine information and repairs completed on work orders, including parts and fluids used Forklift experience and license preferred. Proactively seek and participate in available company-sponsored training, in an effort to develop and advance knowledge base and skill set Participate in all company/location driver communication efforts, including open book meetings, huddles, department meetings, and other related efforts What we are looking for: You can perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment, following technical manual procedures on machines of the technician's specialty Must have 5+ years of experience performing diesel service repairs Excellent mechanical skills Strong computer skills Excellent customer service skills Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment Strong oral and written communication skills Strong organizational skills Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment Excellent skills in operating vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes You're able to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions Can lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly You have advanced diesel service technician education preferred - Level 3 You have a high school diploma or equivalent experience required; an associate's degree is preferred Strong work ethic to complete a task efficiently with minimal supervision. An individual will serve as an in-field representative for True North Equipment Communication skills are required to clearly articulate aspects of work being performed to a customer in a courteous and effective manner Identify and communicate solutions for customer service opportunities in the area of responsibility Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders and on-time submittal of information Have a valid driver's license and a clean MVR Candidates must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S without company sponsorship Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a safe, professional, and efficient manner Understands and adheres to TNE customer data policies and procedures. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources. Ensure that the company's reputation and image in the community is consistent with TNE values Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities High school diploma or equivalent experience This role is classified as a safety-sensitive position. As such, the employee must undergo required drug testing. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible, work overtime and weekends on occasion. Conduct oneself in the presence of customers and community to present a professional image of True North Equipment Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner Must have the flexibility and ability to work a varying schedule. Normal hours worked are Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm in our off-season. Seasonal hours worked are Mon-Fri 730am-530pm and every other Saturday 730am-12 pm, with on-call rotation and after-hours work during peak seasons.
