Location: HF Warren Hospital - 11800 12 Mile Road Warren, MI 48093 Status: Full-Time | Days Schedule: 40 Hours per week Setting: 100% Inpatient| Adult Patients Call/Weekends: None Position Overview: Henry Ford Health System is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Cath Lab team at HF Warren Hospital. This role includes scrubbing and assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures, evaluating patients pre- and post-procedure in the recovery area, and entering pre-procedure orders for patients scheduled the following day. The APP will also participate in the evaluation and management of post-catheterization complications. Candidates must have prior Cath Lab experience or experience managing post-catheterization patients and related complications. This position is not open to new graduates. Qualifications: * NP or PA graduate from an accredited program * Current Michigan licensure * National certification (ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA) * BLS required; ACLS required (or obtained after hire) * Cath Lab experience with post Cath patients and post Cath complications. * Prefer, Cath lab scrub Education & Training * Nurse Practitioner (NP): Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) * Physician Assistant (PA): Completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) Licensure * Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the State of Michigan.
