A nine-week pharmacist opportunity is available in Warner Robins, GA, involving a contract assignment that begins immediately. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with potential weekend rotation to support pharmacy operations and patient care. Key Responsibilities: Accurately accept and dispense prescription medications in compliance with legal standards. Monitor patient medication usage to detect compliance issues or overuse. Maintain confidential patient records and ensure precise pharmacy documentation. Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, storage, and drug interactions. Provide clinical services such as smoking cessation support, blood pressure checks, and cholesterol management. Educate patients on medical device use, including blood pressure monitors and glucose meters. Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions according to protocols. Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks, ensuring smooth workflow. Manage pharmaceutical inventory and medical supplies. Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, pharmacy interns, and other healthcare professionals to resolve drug-related problems. Qualifications and Desired Experience: PharmD degree required. Valid Georgia pharmacist license (in-hand). Experience as a retail pharmacist is welcomed; training provided for suitable candidates. Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
