Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled OB/GYN Physician to provide full-spectrum care in obstetrics and gynecology. This includes preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, surgical intervention, prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum management. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care and optimal health outcomes. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical oversight and mentorship to NPs, PAs, RNs, medical assistants, residents, and medical students.Guide staff performance, training, and professional development.Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and manage gynecologic conditions, reproductive health concerns, and chronic disorders.Perform routine exams: pelvic, breast, Pap smears, and preventive screenings.Conduct surgical procedures, including C-sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopic surgeries (credential-dependent).Monitor patient health, interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans.Provide patient counseling on contraception, family planning, menopause, and preventative care.Maintain accurate, timely medical records according to legal and organizational standards.Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.Respond to obstetric emergencies and participate in on-call rotations.Stay current with medical advancements and continuing education.Comply with healthcare laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Required Skills & AbilitiesStrong clinical and surgical expertise in obstetrics and gynecology.Excellent diagnostic, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Calm and effective management of emergencies.Strong interpersonal communication with patients, families, and team members.Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and ethical standards.Organizational and time-management proficiency.Independent and team-oriented work capabilities.EMR proficiency and commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care. Education & ExperienceMD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency.Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.Active, unrestricted state medical license; DEA registration.Current BLS and ACLS; NRP preferred.Prior OB/GYN clinical experience preferred; new graduates considered. Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and sit for long periods.Fine motor skills for surgical procedures.Ability to lift/assist patients and equipment (up to 25 lbs).Work extended hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.Adequate vision for exams, procedures, and record review.
