Additional information on how to complete the two-page resume is located at The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Air & Space Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Outreach Coordinator for AFSC/ENR-OL Robins, supporting Robins AFB. The Air & Space STEM Outreach Program exists to develop, implement, and manage comprehensive educational programs that inspire and encourage students (K-12 and beyond) to pursue careers in technical fields, particularly those relevant to the Air Force mission. This role supports Air Force civilian recruiting and talent development efforts by fostering interest in STEM, highlighting Air Force STEM career opportunities, and building relationships with educational institutions and community organizations. The incumbent will coordinate, develop, and deliver activities, curricular resources, and training to design/support initiatives. A secondary duty of the role is to manage the Scientist and Engineer (S&E) workforce development and training program at Robins AFB. Requirements: - U.S. Citizenship - Obtain & maintain a security clearance - The employee may be required to travel on military and commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty -APDP certification Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities: -Knowledge of STEM education principles and Air Force community outreach and/or public affairs protocols. -Knowledge of Programming, Planning and Budgeting System policies, procedures and required documentation. -Skilled project manager and event coordinator, capable of integrating goals/mission of multiple external stakeholders to support STEM Outreach. -Ability to work with local community, schools, teachers, and technical organizations to provide outreach and increase the effectiveness of the Air Force's investment in STEM. -Skilled in technical and non-technical communication, both written and verbal, for a variety of skill levels, educational, and professional backgrounds. -Ability to collaborate with academic, government, and industry partners to develop/provide leadership for joint initiatives in collaboration with science, educational, and technology programs.
