About the Job: We're excited to announce an opportunity for the position of Human Resources Specialist! This position is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of the Bank's benefit programs, payroll processing, leave management and related compliance activities. This role serves as the Bank's primary HRIS administrator, responsible for system oversight, data integrity, reporting, and acts as the liaison with system vendors to ensure optimal functionality and compliance. Additionally, this position develops and maintains HR analytics and reporting to support strategic decision-making. The hiring range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. This position is Full Time, 40 hours weekly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other Duties May be Assigned): Administers the Bank's benefit programs for active employees and retirees, including insured benefits, voluntary benefits, retirement plans, etc. This includes management of the full life-cycle of all benefit programs, including new employee benefit orientation and enrollment, day-to-day administration and employee questions, billing reconciliation, working with benefit vendors, and collaborating on the annual renewal process. Processes bi-weekly payroll using ADP Workforce Now. Responsible for management of automated timekeeping system and ensuring that Bank pay practices comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Acts as administrator and primary vendor liaison for the Bank's HRIS system, ADP Workforce Now. This includes system configuration, optimization, user access management, workflow oversight, data integrity, and reporting set up. Maintains all electronic information and ensures that records are kept up to date, including electronic personnel files and data. Using data from the HRIS, generate and analyze HR metrics to support strategic decision-making (ex. headcount, turnover, etc.) Prepares and submits required HR compliance reporting, such as EEO-1, Vets, Affirmative Action compliance, etc. Works with internal and external auditors to provide information supporting their requests for information. Manages all leaves of absences working with the Bank's Third-Party Administrator, including working with team members to start the claim process and checking in throughout their leave, as well as tracking leave and processing leave payments in payroll. Working closely with Chief Culture & Development Officer, administrates all Bank base pay and incentive programs, including ongoing management of the incentive plan scorecards for all team members. Manages the Bank's Wellness Program to include monthly programmatic updates and communication for across the Bank. Works with the HR Communications Specialist to produce regular benefit and wellness related content. Ensures Benefit and Wellness Works sites stay up to date and include regular content to engage team members in understanding their benefit offerings. Assists the Chief Culture & Development Officer in the annual department budgeting process and tracking throughout the year, including compensation and benefits, in particular. Works with external partners to process Unemployment claims, COBRA administration, and annual ERISA Benefit Filing responsibilities. Participates in benefits surveys, as requested. Acts as liaison with internal and external auditors for benefit related requests and responsible for Vendor Management responsibilities for all benefit related relationships. Knowledge and Skills: You must be able to work independently, interpreting ideas and facts, while also analyzing and interpreting federal and state laws and/or regulations. This employee should have strong written communication and analytical thinking skills, sound decision-making and judgement skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Employees with exceptional numerical aptitudes are preferred. This position requires advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, along with intermediate knowledge of other Microsoft Office Suite items, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. Must have recent experience working with and strong knowledge of ADP Workforce Now for payroll, benefits administration and reporting. Education and Work Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Business or other related field or equivalent experience is required, in addition to at least three years of experience including benefit administration, payroll processing, leave management administration and HRIS management. Professional industry certifications are preferred, such as PHR or CBP. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: This position is in an office environment, which means the physical surroundings are generally pleasant and comfortable with minimal exposure to injury or other hazards, with a moderate level of noise. Prolonged periods of sitting and looking at a computer screen with freedom of movement on a regular basis is expected. Minimal physical effort is required but could include: repetitive motion of wrists and fingers; talking and hearing; and handling of light materials and supplies.
