Position Title: Host/HostessLocation: Diamondback�s Fine Dining Restaurant � Waco, TXReports To: Front-of-House ManagerPosition Summary:The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests at Diamondback�s and plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional fine dining experience. This position requires a warm, professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage reservations and seating in a way that supports both guest satisfaction and efficient service flow.Key Responsibilities:� Greet guests warmly and promptly upon arrival, making them feel welcome and valued.� Manage reservations and walk-in guests using the restaurant�s reservation system.� Coordinate with servers and management to ensure proper table rotation and guest flow.� Escort guests to their tables and present menus in a polished and professional manner.� Maintain an organized and clean host stand and lobby area at all times.� Answer incoming phone calls professionally, providing accurate information about the restaurant, menu, and events.� Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns when possible, and communicate feedback to management.� Assist in accommodating special requests, such as dietary needs or seating preferences, whenever possible.� Support front-of-house team members as needed to ensure smooth service operations.Qualifications:� Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant environment preferred, but not required.� Strong customer service skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.� Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.� Professional appearance and demeanor.� Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.� Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.Core Values at Diamondback�s:We pride ourselves on exceptional hospitality, attention to detail, and creating memorable dining experiences.
