JOB DESCRIPTION Job Title: Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) Service Coordinator Supervisor: Assistant Executive Director Working Conditions: Non-exempt; 52 weeks; flexible schedule as necessary; travel as required Hours may vary according to the needs of the clients being served. SCOPE: The ROSS Service Coordinator is responsible for administering the ROSS Program. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, counseling, education or a related field with three years of related practical experience. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, consideration will be given to persons with substantial experience in a closely related field. Knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Excel and Word and electronic communications. Strong written and verbal communications. Be able to work independently, make decisions, and maintain composure under stress. Strong written and oral communication skills. Possess a valid driver's license. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide outreach, recruit, and determine eligibility of potential new participants. Conduct needs assessments and facilitate goal setting with participants. Work collaboratively with participants to holistically meet their needs using a client-centered approach. Create and maintain a confidential environment. Develop and manage ROSS Program Coordinating Committee. Research, develop, maintain, and revise department forms, procedures, and control systems as needed. Cultivate service provider partnerships to coordinate the provision of services with the needs of eligible participants. Research and apply for funding to support the ROSS program and participant activities. Measure outcomes by tracking program activities and monitoring participant progress. Collect and manage data with organized records. Mobilize public and private resources to ensure that the supportive services identified can be found. Monitor and evaluate the delivery, impact, and effectiveness of any supportive service under the program. Perform other duties and functions that are appropriate for providing eligible participants with the necessary resources to attain participant and program goals. Responsible for program equipment and materials utilized in the ROSS program. Coordinate with the property management team to facilitate a team approach to participant needs.
