Project Weld Inspector

Caldwell Tanks is looking for a Project Weld Inspector in Vineland, New Jersey to join our team. This person will work closely with the QA Manager and Welding Engineer to assist Shops and Field operations. Inspects work in process of shop fabrication and field construction of metal products to ensure conformance with production drawings, internal Company criteria and applicable standards. This person will be based in New Jersey for a year long project with the opportunity to travel to other jobs after the initial year. The pay starts in the $50/hr range with competitive benefits and per spects specialized equipment per Company inspection program.Continue process to incorporate additional equipment into the inspection program.Maintain internal equipment inspection program and database.Perform job site inspections to evaluate welding and the company established acceptable criteria.Document and distribute inspection process using Plant or Job Site inspection form.When appropriate, document and distribute non-conformance reports to notify appropriate personnel when nonconformances are discovered.CWI certified2 to 4 years related experience and/or trainingOne year certificate from college or technical school (or equivalent combination of experience and education)Not afraid of heights/climbing
