Technical Project Manager - Plastics Manufacturing / NPILocation: Southern New Jersey / Greater Philadelphia (Onsite)Compensation: $120K - $140K base + bonusOverviewWe are seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead high-impact programs within a plastics manufacturing environment, supporting complex products from development through full-scale production. This role operates at the center of engineering, operations, and customer engagement, with a strong emphasis on execution, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced production setting.Key ResponsibilitiesLead programs through full lifecycle with a strong focus on execution and operational performanceCoordinate across engineering, operations, quality, and maintenance to drive program successServe as the primary liaison between internal teams and customer stakeholders, including executive-level communicationDrive timelines, manage risks, and ensure alignment across multiple concurrent initiativesSupport production environments by addressing technical, quality, and operational challengesOversee program-related financial inputs, including cost tracking and project-level analysisEnsure readiness for production and maintain alignment with customer expectationsQualifications (Required)7+ years of experience in program or project management within manufacturingDirect experience in plastics manufacturing, injection molding, or closely related processesEngineering background with strong technical problem-solving abilityProven experience leading cross-functional programs tied to production environmentsDemonstrated success in customer-facing roles, including executive-level communicationStrong understanding of manufacturing operations, production flow, and plant-level coordinationAbility to operate effectively in a hands-on, fast-paced environment with competing prioritiesPreferred BackgroundExperience in regulated industries (medical device, pharma, or similar)Familiarity with ISO-regulated environments (e.g., ISO 9001 / 13485)Experience supporting high-volume or automated production environmentsExposure to capital projects, process improvements, or production optimizationWhat This Role OffersOwnership of critical, high-visibility programs tied directly to production performanceClose collaboration with engineering, operations, and customer stakeholdersOpportunity to work on complex manufacturing systems in a dynamic environmentA role that combines technical depth with program leadershipAdditional NotesThis is an onsite role requiring close engagement with production teams and manufacturing operations.Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates (East Coast preferred).About Blue Signal:Blue Signal is an award-winning, executive search firm specializing in various specialties.
